Movie Haiku:Jewish-Argentinian in his late 20s (Hendler) feels trapped in his Buenos Aires shtetl & starts planning his escape. Gentle comedy perfectly conveys the universal truth that every person comes into adulthood within the constraints of a specific family melodrama, located in a particular place & time. Understated, astute, thoroughly charming. (For more, see Jan's WJD review in COLUMNS section.)
