Movie Haiku:“Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan” -- in which a British comedian (Cohen) impersonates a Kazakhstani newscaster (“Borat”) making a documentary about America with his producer (“Azamat”). As people befriend them “Borat” continuously raises the stakes, shocking his victims for audience amusement. Rich found this transgressive & often funny; Jan was alternately bored & squirming in her seat.
