| | Movie Haiku: | Normally great Almodóvar fans, VOLVER left us both cold. Frankly there’s too much estrogen in this film & with no men in the cast the female characters became one dimensional. Colorful & eager to please, but lots of laughter can’t conceal all the obvious plot contrivances. All surface, no heart. |
