| | Movie Haiku: | “Girls” play back-up in this story of a ruthlessly ambitious man (Foxx) clawing his way to the top, then finding himself alone once he’s there. Rich focused on the drama & did fine, but Jan, who loves both Broadway & Motown, wanted better music in this unfortunately “just OK” musical.
