| Movie Haiku: | DOES NOT MEET CRITERIA: Big fans of DAYS OF HEAVEN so we are excited whenever a new Malick film is announced but it's a longtime since HEAVEN was released (1978!) & his trajectory is ever downward. We both found this a totally pretentious bore. Some evocative scenes of an idealized American boyhood but no narrative depth or sustaining vision. Feh :-( |
