| Movie Haiku: | Prequel to campy old franchise totally reenergized by the performance of "motion capture" genius Andy Serkis in lead role of "Caesar" aka the ape who rises. Rich thinks Act One is too slow, but Jan thinks it''s a perfect set up: sweet scientist (Franco) with the best of intentions creates disaster. Kudos to screenwriters Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver. |
