The attempt to cover a 50 year time frame results in over-reliance on make-up effects that cripple DiCaprio & doom Hammer (assigned the difficult role of Hoover''s "wife" Clyde Tolson). But fact-based insights into the early years of the FBI are truly fascinating. |
