Movie Haiku:Romuald Waszkinel was born to a Jewish family who handed him over to a Polish Catholic family before they perished in the Shoah in 1943. He became a Catholic priest at 17 and learned of his orgins at 35. Now, at the end of his life, he would like to be an Israeli citizen and a Jew, while remaining a Catholic. The director has broad access to the people involved in the story but you wish she could have gotten some of them to ask more probing questions.
