| Movie Haiku: | Good natured comedy about a regular New York guy (Robinson) who falls for a BAP (Black American Princess) from the Hamptons, then schemes to meet her family. Grier is fine as the extremely successful & way over protective father, but the best part is watching Merkerson play the daffy mom after all those buttoned-up years as Anita Van Buren on Law & Order. Not yet seen by Rich. |
