| Movie Haiku: | Lowery reaches for the high of DAYS OF HEAVEN but drowns in pretentious--albeit gorgeous--visuals. Shout-Out to Malikians (now including TM himself): If you don''t care enough about characters to create narrative structure for them, you just waste great actors & frustrate audiences. Rich had some sympathy for DL but Jan had none (save the joy of seeing Carradine on screen again). |
