| | Movie Haiku: | 5th Jackson/Walsh/Boyens collaboration in Tolkien Land, this time with a boost from Special Effects master Guillermo del Toro. Jan actually liked this outing more than others because it is more "intimate"--just a little band of little guys & no massive armies. Is that why Rich liked it less? Anyway, the format is growing stale at this point, especially without Gollum on screen. |
