Movie Haiku:VBT co-wrote, directed, & stars in this semi-autobiographical dramedy about a actress in her early 40s facing up to the imminent death of her beloved brother (Timi) as well as the financial ruin of their family estate. To keep her film bittersweet (instead of simply tragic), VBT plays a bit of a dunce, giving the emotional center to her mother (Borini). Not yet seen by Rich.
