Movie Haiku:After decades on her own, May Alice (McDonnell) returns to her bayou home in a wheelchair, determined to drink herself to death. Then Chantal (Woodard) arrives, ready to stand her ground even though she knows how many previous caretakers have already resigned in disgust. Why? Two beautifully-played, intertwining character studies.
