Movie Haiku:Second attempt @ adapting Graham Greene’s early ‘50s novel about American intervention in Viet Nam. Caine plays a detached world-weary British journalist. Fraser plays his foil, an energetic, idealist CIA operative. Once he discovers Fraser’s true identify, Caine must figure out if his detachment is based on conviction or exhaustion.
