Alan and Sharon Waldman
  

Tuxedo cat Winkie Waldman’s guardians, Alan and Sharon Waldman, live in semi-retired bliss in Corvallis, OR, among 100-year-old giant sequoias, towering Douglas firs, brilliant rhododendrons, fuzzy rabbits, shy deer, 150 wild blackberry bushes and more than 20 apple, plum and cherry trees—from which she creates yummy cobblers, pies and applesauce.

Sharon has traveled throughout Europe as a travel writer, and Alan has visited 48 states and 43 countries (on six continents), sometimes interviewing CEOs and government officials. Sharon has written a book about Los Angeles for use during the 1984 Olympics, and Alan has written an amusing mock horoscope under the nom de absurdité Princess Conchita O’Doyle. Sharon is also a personal historian, helping people capture their life stories in book form. Alan is a public nuisance, setting records for sending outré Internet jokes and creating dreadful puns.
